Xingzhou Rong (China)

Rong Xingzhou, the youngest participant of 15th International H. Wieniawski Violin Competition, began to play the piano at the age of four, and the violin at the age of five. Student of the recognised Prof. Zhang Ti, at the age of fifteen he graduated from Secondary School of Music affiliated with the Central Conservatory. Participant of numerous national and international music events, he achieved first notable success at Hoon Rumsfeld International Violin Competition in 2014. Later that year, took 2nd place at CCTV Pianist and Violinist Competition. In 2015, gave first solo concert at Harbin University, competed in K. Lipiński and H. Wieniawski International Young Violinist Competition in Lublin, took part in the opening and closing ceremonies of Beijing Youth Art Festival, as well as participated in 11th National Young Violinist Competition.
