At the invitation of Mr Bartosz Bryła, chairman of the Henryk Wieniawski Musical Society of Poznań, and Mr Andrzej Wituski, director of International Henryk Wieniawski Competitions, Krzysztof Penderecki has accepted the post of the Honorary Chairman of the Jury at the 15^th international Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition. The competition, whose jury will be chaired by Maestro Maxim Vengerov, will be held in October 2016.
